“Oops!” We had ran out, of all things, paper towels. So since the weekend would include a trip to Costco, I decided to walk to one of my neighborhood stores to buy “a roll” of brand X. Since I don’t frequent the store I was pleasantly surprised that I found the item right away, and I jumped on the line! After a few minutes on line I said oops! I was on the lottery line instead of the grocery line! No wonder there were so many people in the store at 7:00 am. No I’m not writing about to play or not to play, so don’t go there. I’m telling you that I was on the wrong line because I wasn’t paying attention. Someone said that “If you don’t pay attention, you’ll have to pay someone else.” So as we go through this new year my friends, pay attention because God has work for all of us to do, but we’ve got to be on the right line! “But He answered and said, It is written: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” St. Matthew 4:4 NEXT!
