“A little light in my oven.”

“A little light in my oven.” When I get up in the mornings it’s still dark outside, but when I go downstairs to head for the kitchen I don’t turn on the lights. I figure I know where everything is so there’s no danger. Yesterday however there was a little light that was left on by mistake in the oven, and when I turned on the kitchen light the oven light almost disappeared! The problem we face in our nation today is the absence of light. Sometimes we can be intimidated by folks who seem to have a light that’s bigger than ours, but don’t be. Saints we’re living in dark times, and we need all the light that we can get. My oven light was small, but it gave me enough light to see where I was going. So keep your light shinning on the Savior, and don’t let anyone despise your light! “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” St. Matthew 5:14.
