“But the end is not yet.”

“But the end is not yet.” St. Matthew 24:6. Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine reminded me of the days when everyone seemed to be thinking about end time prophecy. Back in the day my wife headed a group in our church that were meeting to discuss the”Left Behind” series, and I was chasing Hal Lindsey’s “The Late Great Planet Earth.” While Russia, China and other nations can be found in scripture, it seems that America, for some reason, is not. Now I know that the problem with Russia could pull us into a shooting war, “but the end is not yet.” As Christians this is a good time for us to focus and refocus on our mission. I believe that we still have time to point people to Jesus, so let’s point and join our brothers and sisters in the Ukraine in prayer. “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Keep praying church!
