“Keep taking those meds’”

“Keep taking those meds!” Can you remember when you took no medicine at all; not even an aspirin? In those days we were faster than a speeding bullet, and could leap tall buildings with a single bound! Yes, in those days I was invincible, but now I’ve become the poster child for Walgreens and Rite Aide! In fact I received a call this week reminding me to “pick up those meds.” Now I’m not complaining because I know that God gave the doctors the wisdom to give us the medicine, and me the common sense to take it. But as they continue to drop the restrictions put in place because of the virus, keep on taking the medicine that you can’t get from the drug store. Keep taking the medicine of daily prayer and the medicine of daily Bible reading, because that medicine works in times like these! “I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.” Psalm 116:1 “Keep taking those meds!”
