“No one is above the law!”

“No one is above the law!” Sorry, I’m not talking about President #45. We all have been hearing that saying for several weeks now, and I thought how appropriate it is during this Christmas season.

Yes God sent Jesus into the world because “No one is above His law” and we needed a Savior. When God said “Do not have other gods besides me” (Exodus 20:3 CSB), He meant He was the only true and living God to be worshiped. Yet people are worshipping everything but God, and don’t realize that they are breaking God’s moral law. Whether you believe in Jesus or not, no one is above His law, and although you won’t be impeached, the consequences for breaking God’s law is pretty rough.

My grandmother, Mother Cora Brown use to say, “If one sin got Adam and Eve kicked out the garden, what will your one sin do?” That’s why years ago I decided to make an out of court settlement and I thank God for Christmas! Yes every unsaved person is yet under the law and will meet the Judge of all the earth! “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” St. John 1:17 Merry Christmas!
