“Obey the sign or pay the fine.”

“Obey the sign or pay the fine.” As I saw the sign for the first time this week I immediately took my foot off the accelerator for a few seconds so that I could slow down. Although the sign was new, the speed limit wasn’t, and technically I was breaking the law. Had I gotten pulled over, all I could do was accept the ticket, and ease on down the road. Friends, there is no grace when the sign says “Speed Limit”, and there is no grace for sinners who refuse to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior! As Christians we know that something is very wrong in America because, if no one else does,we see the signs. In the Bronx an entire neighborhood was terrorized for more than a month and its senior citizens were beaten like dogs by teenagers. You may not agree, but someone is going to a very bad place all because they saw the sign, but didn’t read the sign! Now all the signs are in the Bible so try to keep yours near in case someone you know didn’t see the sign. “Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.” St. John 9:31. “Obey the sign or do the time.”

“When doubt is gone.” What a way to end a month. Someone is pushed onto the train tracks again, a Police officer is slain in the line of duty, and a bridge in Baltimore falls down with people on it. T
