“Reaping what we sow.”

“Reaping what we sow.” A young person that I know came back to the Lord after a bout with Covid 19. They reached out to a family member complaining that since God is a God of love, and they came back to Him, why are they still going through “stuff.” I told the family member what I’ve heard Dr. Charles Stanley say. “You reap what you sow, more than you sow, later than you sow; so be careful what you sow!”

Too many people think that if we tell God we’re sorry, and really mean it we get a free pass on our past and present wrongs. Sorry we can’t blame everything on the devil. Although we’re under grace, and are God’s children, He can still take us to the “wood shed.” “For whom the Lord Loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son he receiveth.” Hebrew 12:6.

Some have walked away from the faith because they didn’t understand that principle, even though it’s all through the Scriptures. Let’s not condemn them. Let’s ask God to open their eyes to the truth before it’s too late! Thank God for the praying Saints!
