“Save the Planet?”

“Save the Planet?” The snow fell in New York this week but not as some had hoped, and of course, we blamed it on climate change. While other parts of the United States had tornadoes, road and school closures and the like, we missed a blizzard. Now we still have time to have a major storm, but should we blame the weather on climate changes or is the Bible being fulfilled? I hate paper straws and like the old M & M commercials use to say they tend to melt in my mouth and not in my hand. They took away my plastic straws in order to save the planet but there’s only one Savior for this planet, and His name is Jesus! “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” Romans 8:22 That scripture puts the blame on Adam and Eve for all of the crazy weather in the world and it will remain crazy until the Prince of Peace returns to the earth! So keep on walking the walk and talking the talk, because Jesus is closer than we think.
