“Social Distance versus Social Contact.”

“Social Distance versus Social Contact.” It was no surprise to me that more than one million Americans traveled during the Thanksgiving holiday.

While people in authority from the President elect to the Mayor of our great city begged pleaded and threatened; folk jumped in cars, on trains and planes to “get out of Dodge.” Certainly while all had a right to be concerned, I think that humanity kicked in big time overriding the reality of justified fear.

Many understood that, even with the vaccine coming, this may have been the last opportunity to hug or see a loved one who is so far away. So they took a chance, knowing full well that if you caught the virus, “You might get better, but you’ll never get well!” God made us Social creatures when He said “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Genesis 2:18

Let us continue to Shelter in place as best that we can, believing that in God’s own time our change will come! Keep praying Saints!
