“The mask of faith!”

Updated: Jul 4, 2020

“The mask of faith!” As I was driving I saw a church sign that said “Wear your faith like you wear your Face mask. Take it everywhere you go.”

I thought that was pretty good. So far no store will let you in without a mask, and when the church facilities reopen, we’ll be wearing masks even in church!

So it certainly makes sense to wear our faith like we wear our face masks, and take our faith everywhere we go. As we face this new normal we’ll be exercising our faith as never before.

Yet our faith will have to take us outside of our comfort zones and we’ll need the mask of faith to get us through! Someone may need your prayers and words of encouragement.

Someone may need to vent or even ask you “Why?” and you’ll have to be ready with your faith mask, to give an answer. I’m so glad I’m saved today, and I don’t know what’s coming our way next, but I’ll be sure to take my faith mask with me! “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans’ 1:17.
