“There’s never an Ark around when you need one!”

“There’s never an Ark around when you need one!” Boy oh boy did it rain this week! Before the residue of hurricane Elsa showed up a storm came one day earlier that made Elsa seem like a tropical depression! Sewers backed up, water cascaded down subway steps, and trees came tumbling down!

The interesting part was that the weather people had no idea it would come so quickly and with such severity, and that so many would be stranded. As we watched the news, people were rescued from their cars as the water took their vehicles away as though they were matchsticks! Two sisters said that the water came out of nowhere as they rode down the highway and swept their car away. How can you prepare for what you don’t expect?

Now for years Noah tried to sell Salvation tickets, but only his family was buying. So when the flood finally came he invited no one into the ark, because salvation time was over! Saints let’s keep walking the walk and talking the talk so that others may know that, at least for now, we’re in the rescue business! “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” 1st Thessalonians 5:2.

“When doubt is gone.” What a way to end a month. Someone is pushed onto the train tracks again, a Police officer is slain in the line of duty, and a bridge in Baltimore falls down with people on it. T
