“Tricked or Treat?”

“Tricked or Treat?” It seems like, at least in my neighborhood, a lot of folks are celebrating Halloween and are decorating their houses. Yes ghosts and witches, and black cats abound, and some of the decorations are even mechanical!

As I was driving home one evening and admiring the lights I had to slow down, and almost came to a dead stop! For some reason one of the homeowners decided to put up their Christmas lights! No Santa Claus or reindeers, just lights that remind us of the Christ Mass. The red for His blood, and white for His purity, ect. I wanted to get out of my car, go up to that house and rang their bell just to say thank you! Of course I knew not to do that in the middle of the night! While many are celebrating a natural holiday, I’m thankful to God for my supernatural Holy Day, and that’s my Treat! What about you? “For unto us a child is born, unto to us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 Yes, no tricks, just my treat!

“When doubt is gone.” What a way to end a month. Someone is pushed onto the train tracks again, a Police officer is slain in the line of duty, and a bridge in Baltimore falls down with people on it. T
