“What to do. When God is slow.”

“What to do when God is slow.” Wait!!! Have you ever felt like God is taking a very long time to answer your prayer? Over and over again we were reminded growing up that “You can’t hurry God” and “He may not come when you want Him, but He’s right on time!”

This month marks, for me, one full year of the lock down and I must confess like many of the Saints I tried to hurry God up to get this virus out of here. I found out however that the old Saints were right. He may NOT come when you want Him to, so like many of you, I’m learning how to wait!

Certainly we have some good examples of the waiting Saints. King David said “I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me and heard my cry.” Psalm 40:1. If that wasn’t enough imagine being stuck in Job’s pandemic and having to say, “All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14b. God is not slow; He’s just teaching us to wait! So please keep those masks on and “joy will come in the morning!”
