“Who was that masked man?”

Updated: Jul 4, 2020

“Who was that masked man?” If you said the Lone Ranger you’d be absolutely right! Back in the day, every Thursday night, our family would be glued to the television as he and his faithful Indian companion fought crime in the old west.

If he were around today however he’d have a problem, because seemingly we are all wearing masks, and not just for protection.

Our social distancing, though necessary, has created for some a mask of loneliness and for others a mask to hide our fears.

If we pass someone in the street or in a store, we can’t tell whether they are happy or sad because all we can see are their eyes and no one is sticking around for conversation.

My brothers and sisters sooner or later the natural masks will come off, and the church will come together again in fellowship.

Until that time we will shelter in place, praying that those other masks will come off too! It’s going to be a big job, but we serve a BIG God!

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6. Stay safe Saints!
