Bishop Dr. Ronald Ferguson, Sr. was born and raised in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. He received Christ at an early age while attending the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ of Brooklyn, NY under the leadership of the late Superintendent W.W Covington. In 1978, Bishop Ferguson founded his church, Grace and Truth Gospel Temple, Church of God in Christ in Brooklyn, New York, known as the church where "the love of God abides". In 1978, the church was comprised of a membership of 10 people. However, by leading God's people faithfully over 42 years.

 

As Pastor, Bishop Ferguson created and managed over 15 different auxiliaries and ministries within the church including, the Trustee Board, Ministerial staff, Women's Department, the Usher Board, etc. He has also created a Men's Fellowship that is composed of over 40 men. Within the church, Bishop Ferguson has created biblically based programs that reach outside of the four walls of Grace and Truth. 

 

Bishop Ferguson is still an active member in the Local, Regional and National bodies of the Church of God in Christ, Inc.

 

Bishop Ferguson holds a D.Div in Sacred Theology from Wayne Theological Seminary of Detroit Michigan. He resides in Queens Village, NY with his wife, Norbaleen Smalls Ferguson and their six children, LaRita, Ronald Jr., Jennifer, Shawndae, Everett, and Evan. He has two daughters-in-law, Buffy and Whitney. He also has six grandchildren, Javon, Ronald III, MyRiah,

James, Shane & Shawndae Jr.
